G/SE is a new firm that began as a natural outgrowth of my experience at HLW International as Partner and Director of Structural Engineering. My goal is to offer the same high level of structural engineering expertise and commitment to close collaboration with the other design disciplines. During my years at HLW, I have worked side by side with architects and designers and have learned the importance of communication and integration between the architectural and structural engineering disciplines. My philosophy has always been that the structure should not be a restriction on design, but rather that is the means for achieving the design and making it a reality. I also recognize the importance of communication with contractors, as I’ve had extensive experience in the field and always strive to provide eminently constructible and economical solutions.
