The hodgepodge shop has been in Leeds going on 11 years, We moved from Mansion Street in Coxsackie, where we were known as the Hodgepodge garage, we had to change the name because too many people came in wanting me to fix their cars or change the oil. I guess the first thing you need to know about me and my shop, is that I was born and raised on a farm and farmers don’t throw away anything!
It’s nice the rest of the world is catching up and calling it up-cycling or re-purposing.
We can be your one stop shopping for all of the little odds and ends that make your projects special and although we might not look that big as you drive-by we go back a ways and have an acre of stuff in the back lot.
So speaking of backlots I went to film school and worked at the universal studios back lot as a set decorator,that definitely change my idea of what is worth collecting and saving. I rent out a lot of stuff to movies,TV shows, local plays, and can even can help you out if you are planning a backyard wedding.
