Catskill became a landmark when long-time resident and artist, Thomas Cole, introduced the Hudson River School of Painting. American art was forever changed by Cole’s influence as founder and father of the movement.
Patrick’s work, which includes his landscapes and signature fine art portraits, along with the paintings of many other talented artists, will be on display throughout the year. In addition to contemporary work, there will be drawings and paintings from the 19th and 20th centuries – documented one-of-a-kind treasures that convey a sense of history and lifestyle. “We want to bring the best that art has to offer – a unique array of art — that everyone can enjoy. It will be a credit to the legacy left by Thomas Cole.”
