Wild Hudson Valley

Wild Hudson Valley was founded in 2013 to teach about the rich history and environment of the region in a fresh, new way. Our walks, workshops, forest farmed products, and camping bring the past into the present and inspire others to become stewards of our planet.

We invite you to experience the natural history and breathtaking beauty of the Hudson Valley and Catskill Mountains. Our eco camp offers spacious furnished tents, engaging activities, an interpretive nature center, and scenic trails that meander through fields, forests, and streams. This is the campsite of your dreams, with organic cotton bedding and towels, rustic enamel tableware, and a brand new bathhouse with private bathrooms and cedar-lined showers.

Join us for guided nature walks that explore everything from birdwatching and medicinal plants to Hudson Valley indigenous history and ancient star lore. Our walks move at a leisurely pace and run from one to three hours, depending on the program. During the summer, we hold walks and workshops on our Farm and Sanctuary in Cairo, NY. Throughout the year, we collaborate with other organizations to lead walks throughout the Hudson Valley & Catskill Mountains.
