Sean “The Prankster” Magician

Sean “The Prankster” Magician is both a performer and producer of magic shows in the Capital Region and beyond.  He is a regular performer at Windham Mountain Ski Resort and Chicken Run Restaurant.  Maybe you have seen him perform at the Windham Civic & Performing Arts Center, Hudson River Cruise Line “Spirit of the Hudson”, The Bridge Street Theater, Riedlebauers Resort, The Thompson House, Villa Vosilla, Acra Manor, The Bavarian Manor, Higher Grounds Café, or Baumann’s Resort, just to name a few.

Why do I call myself “The Prankster”?

Occasionally people will ask me why I call myself the Prankster.  This is my explanation.  My father, an immigrant from Scotland loved practical jokes.  Apparently there is a long line of Pranksters on his side of the family.  As a kid I noticed that whenever we received visitors from Scotland they would prank each other in a light-hearted way.  It was good fun and done out of love.   If you ask, I can tell you a few very funny family stories.  I have learned to appreciate the art of a good Prank and have been known to Prank friends and family.

Magic by its very nature is a form of a prank.  I often insert a fun, light prank into my shows.   Let me know if I got you.
